Visual Artist

My work investigates abandoned spaces and objects as sites shaped by the withdrawal of human presence and attention. I am particularly interested in how their visual condition emerges through processes of neglect, where the absence of interaction precipitates material decay and alters their perceived value. These environments, often dismissed as undesirable or insignificant, become markers of temporal passage and shifting cultural priorities.

Through painting, I seek to intervene in this cycle of abandonment by reactivating these subjects within a visual and conceptual framework. The act of representation functions as a form of re-engagement, reintroducing a sense of energy, visibility, and significance. By foregrounding these overlooked spaces and objects, my work invites a reconsideration of how value is constructed and challenges the boundaries between neglect, decay, and aesthetic presence.
